Registering for a USTA Sanctioned Tournament is easily accomplished through Tennislink, our online registration system.  Before you register for a tournament, be sure to review our tournament format descriptions and the tournament abbreviations.

Midwest Ranking Requirements

The USTA/Midwest Section ranks players in five year age increments beginning at age 30.  Any player meeting the requirements shall receive a USTA/Midwest Section ranking.  View Requirements



How to Acquire an Adult or Senior National Ranking

The USTA ranks players in five year age increments from 30 through 90 for men and women, singles and doubles. Any player who meets the ranking requirement described below shall be listed on the Adult/Senior web site and shall receive a USTA ranking certificate for the divisions(s) in which the player is ranked. More

US Open National Playoffs - Midwest Sectional Qualifier

The US Open National Playoffs return for their fifth year in 2014, once again including competition in men’s and women’s singles as well as mixed doubles. The USTA created the US Open National Playoffs in 2010 to expand the footprint of the US Open to cities nationwide by providing the opportunity for all competitors 14 years of age and older—regardless of playing experience or ability—to play in the US Open.  Click Here to register on TennisLink.


USTA/Midwest Section Intersectional Team

The USTA/Midwest Section sends a men's and women's team to participate in the USTA National Intersectional Team Championship. Play on a team, and compete against the other 16 USTA Section Associations from all parts of the United States.   For the age categories of 35, and 45 - team members are usually rated 4.5/5.0 or above. For the age categories of 55, 65 - team members are usually rated 4.0/4.5 or above. USTA/Midwest Section endorsement is required. Click here to apply.
