Schools

We're interested in working with our schools across the USTA/Midwest Section to introduce tennis to youth.  From elementary thru high school level, there are a number of ways we can partner with your school:

  • Community Education
  • In-Service Training for teachers in K-12 grades
  • After-school program
  • Physical Education for Life program
  • Equipment needs

For more information on any of the above programs or services, contact USTA/Midwest Section Junior Recreation and Teams Coordinator Greg Boyd at 317-577-5130 ext. 236 or via e-mail at greg@midwest.usta.com.

Testimonials - Check out some of the participating schools offering USTA School Tennis in the USTA/Midwest Section.  And, view some media coverage one participating school received in Mishawaka, In.

After-School Grants - Check out the USTA School Tennis After-School Grants available.  The grants are designed to fund development and/or expansion of tennis opportunities affiliated with school systems (districts, counties, etc.).  Programs must be centered on organized play and team formats in a school setting involving intramural and interscholastic leagues.

No-Cut High School tennis - And, if you're a high school tennis coach, check out the USTA No-Cut High School grant application.  In order to be eligible and apply for the grant, coaches must be registered on the No-Cut Registry at www.usta.com.

Looking for a Few Great Clinicians - Do you have a passion for tennis, experience in coaching and teaching tennis, and want to see more children being introduced to the sport?  If so, please contact Greg Boyd and express your interest in helping us train physical educators in schools across the Midwest.
