Community Tennis Development Workshop


Community Tennis Development Workshop (CTDW)

The Community Tennis Development Workshop (CTDW) is the perfect opportunity for you to enhance your skills and knowledge related to tennis programming. You will have the opportunity to learn from the best, both in the programming sessions and by networking with over 500 of your peers from across the country. You will come away from the workshop informed, connected, and inspired to continue to grow the game!  The 2009 workshop is scheduled from February 13-15 in Hilton Head, SC.  Click here for more information and to register for the workshop.


Community Tennis Development Workshop (CTDW) Partial Scholarship

Workshop scholarships are available for those who might not otherwise be able to attend.  The applicant must be integrally involved in the development of a CTA.  The applicant must first register for the workshop and pay associated fees.  The applicant must have exhausted all local, district and section resource possibilities before applying for national funds.  Priority will be given to applicants from organizations that have never received a scholarship.  District and Section Staff are not eligible to apply.

NJTL CTDW Scholarship

NJTL Chapter/Program Leaders who have demonstrated continued excellence in youth programming may apply. Only one person per active chapter/program is eligible to attend.   Criteria includes: scope of on-court program; number of multicultural youngsters participating; number of scholarships provided to youngsters in need; association with local CTA; interaction with other local organizations, including Park & Recreation Department.
