Q. Is it better to have an adult or family membership?
A. Both memberships are excellent choices and it really comes down to choosing the product that best fits your family’s tennis playing habits. If you have at least two adult family members and/or an adult and two junior members interested in a USTA membership then the Family Membership is the best membership for you.
Q. Is there any way I can lower my membership dues?
A. The best way to lower the cost of membership is to increase the length of the term. Upgrade to a 3 or 5-year membership and take advantage of significant discounts. You also lock-in your rate for a longer period of time and won’t have to worry about renewing each year.
Q. How does the USTA compare with other membership organizations?
A. USTA membership is a great value, especially when compared to other membership organizations. We are proud of the benefits we give our members, the tennis programs we offer in our communities and our support of American Tennis through the Davis Cup, the Fed Cup and the US Open. Money raised through USTA memberships benefit thousands of adults, seniors and children tennis player across the Midwest.
Q. Is there someone I can contact with other questions about my membership?
A. USTA Member Services can help you with all other membership questions. Feel free to call the Member Service Center at 1-800-990-USTA (8782) between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern time Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, or email questions to: email@example.com.
Q. How many members can be listed on a Family Membership?
A. There is no limit to the number of family members listed on a Family Membership. In fact, we would encourage the member to list all family members even if they do not play tennis. The Midwest Section receives incentives for each family member who is added to the membership, which are then passes along to your local community to help grow tennis.
Q. What term of membership gives me the most value?
A. A five (5) year membership provides the greatest benefit to members. By purchasing a five-year membership, you pay for four years and receive the fifth year FREE
Q. If I renew my current membership before it expires, what happens?
A. When you add onto your current membership, the additional years are added onto the end of the membership. However, if you change your membership type (ex. Adult to family), the new membership type will begin the day you sign up and the remaining dollar amount on the old membership will be refunded.
Q. How can a member receive a replacement for a lost or destroyed card?
A. If a USTA member has lost their card, they can contact USTA Member Services at 800-990-8782 to request a replacement card for a nominal fee.
