Volunteer Opportunities

volunteers at one of our recent meetings

Are you looking for a rewarding experience which allows you to give back to the sport you love and have fun at the same time?  The USTA/Midwest Section has a strong and vibrant history of volunteerism. We believe our volunteers are particularly adept, committed, and develop outstanding initiatives.

In fact, we could not provide our depth, breadth, or quality of services and programs without a successful and dynamic partnership of our paid professional staff and our volunteers.  We look forward to welcoming and including you into our volunteer network for a meaningful and appreciated role within our organization.

Online Interest Form

There are a variety of ways in which you may consider volunteering.  For your convenience an online Expression of Interest form is now available, and we ask that you complete and submit the form via e-mail today.  We will notify the District in which you reside of your volunteer interest, and someone will contact you with further details.

Descriptions of Volunteer Positions

Volunteers are motivated and compensated in a variety of ways.  We have posted on our website some information that we believe is pertinent for your consideration as a potential volunteer.  The various volunteer positions within the USTA/Midwest Section are now a click away, along with a job description and anticipated time commitment for each one.

Volunteer of the Month

Each month the USTA/Midwest Section highlights a volunteer from one of our 14 districts who is helping promote and grow the sport of a lifetime.  Click here to view those volunteers who have received recognition thus far.  We have posted a listing of past volunteer award recipients.

Spring and Annual Meetings

The USTA/Midwest Section brings its volunteers together two times each year.  Our 2009 Spring Meeting was held from April 24-25 in Indianapolis, In.  Click here to access a copy of the weekend agenda.  Our 2009 Annual Meeting is scheduled for December 11-13 in Indianapolis, In.  An agenda for the meeting will be posted in the fall.
